To stock up on supplies as this is a service town with a long distance to either Darwin, the WA border or Alice Springs. Today is particularly busy with the caravan carpark full so the "nomads" have spilled out onto the grass beside the carpark. These tourists come a long way to see the sites that the NT has to offer.
